HOW CAN I HELP ?
As a fellow actress, I know the stress put into the whole process of taking a good headshot. I mean, a headshot is the first thing casting, producers, potential agents & managers see! That's HUGE! I want to make the whole process as smooth as possible, and believe it or not, we can make it FUN! I will talk you through the whole process from what to wear, how to pose, the selection process & where to print. You don't need 100+ final images of the same look (outfit) for casting sites, you only need one or two final images. This is why my collections aim to deliver 100+ options per look, allowing you to narrow it down to the best for a very natural retouch! Natural retouch meaning, only removing things that are not permanent (fly aways, skin blemishes, etc). Next time you your at an audition or callback and handing over your headshot, I want you to feel very proud and keep the focus on your craft!

THE COLLECTIONS
IMAGE EXPECTATION
After 7-12 business days following your session, you will receive an online gallery with your ENTIRE session unretouched (proofs). With this gallery you will be able to favorite which images you would like retouched. corrected. Every collection includes a certain amount of retouched images, but you are welcome to purchase additional retouches at $40.00 per images at anytime. The final retouch process is also 7-12 business days and includes a High Resolution for printing (and web use) and Low Resolution for Casting Networks specifically and other web use.
MAKEUP & HAIR
Your options are: Style your own hair and makeup, work with a professional prior or have professional come to studio with you during your session. After submitting the form below, I will send you more info along with a few recommendations.
I strongly recommend that female clients have hair/makeup professionally done. You are welcome to do your own, I have had clients do this with success, but I always say if you are going to invest, why not invest all the way. In addition, we want you to focus on your work as an actor, not on the external. For male clients, makeup and hair is not always necessary but can also be beneficial.

BOOK YOUR SESSION
Many of my clients have struggled to find a high quality printing service for their headshots. I thought I would aid in their search and start offering printing myself. My goal is to keep the service affordable while creating an extremely high quality with a quick turn around.
The Industry Standard size for headshots is 8 x 10 and are typically oriented vertically. Usually actors will staple or have their resume printed to the back of their headshots. This allows easy access for casting directors.
When deciding whether to print resume on back, keep in mind that your resume will change more often than your headshot. This is why I prefer to print my resume at home and then staple it to the back as needed. An at home printer prints at 8x11.5 so you will need to cut it down for your 8x10 headshot. I recommend always having a stack of assorted headshots to which you can print and staple your resume to at any time.
